Alhamdulillah we are blessed to have a masjid on campus. If you are a new student on campus or just visiting, the main entrance to CIMIC is on the rear side of the masjid so don't worry if the entrance facing the street is locked! CIMIC offers multiple programs and initiatives that are extremely beneficial to the local community. CIMIC has a full time Imam who leads multiple programs including Halaqahs and Quran Classes along with the five daily prayers. Check out CIMIC's website for the correct times, or sign up for our Mailing List!

 

If you are a non-Muslim interested in observing the prayer service or learning more about Islam, CIMIC offers visitation hours during and after Friday prayer. Please contact them using this address: visits@cimic.org.

 

Friday Prayer

 

Jumu'ah (congregation prayer) is held every Friday at both 1:05pm and 2:05pm at CIMIC:

Ramadan Iftars

 

During Ramadan, the community sponsors FREE Iftars (breaking of the fast) at CIMIC. Come at around Maghrib time (sunset) to break your fast and eat free food!

 

If you live in dorms, you can also be reimbursed for your meals.

 

Contact housing@illinois.edu to be reimbursed for the raw food cost of lunch and dinner meals missed during Ramadan.
